The Globe is tracking coronavirus clusters and other reported cases in Massachusetts schools.

Starting in late October, school districts were required to report coronavirus cases among students and staff who had been inside school buildings to state education officials. Cases among students and staff who are learning or teaching in a fully remote model are not being tracked by the state.

The number of cases reported in schools rose through the late fall and early winter, but has dropped in recent weeks as more staff members and older students have been able to get vaccinated.

Check our map below to see where cases have been reported, based on data released by the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education each Thursday.
