Northeastern men’s hockey coach Jim Madigan will miss this weekend’s series with Boston College due to a COVID-19 “close contact,” the school announced. Madigan was also unavailable for Wednesday night’s game against UNH.

Associate head coach Jerry Keefe will serve as the acting head coach for at least the remainder of this week.

The Huskies will also be without goaltender Devon Levi, who is out with an upper body injury. There is no timetable for Levi’s return. The freshman returned to campus last week after recording three shutouts and winning a silver medal with Team Canada at the World Junior Championships.
