New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady may have missed the Kentucky Derby last year, but he’s expected to attend with all his best Patriots pals this year.
Brady topped the list of celebrities expected at the Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby Eve Gala on May 4, according to a statement sent Monday.
The event is “internationally recognized as the ‘premier’ Kenucky Derby gala and counted among the ‘Ten Best Parties in the World’ by Conde Nast,” the statement said.
Brady will apparently be joined by both Patriots past and present, including 2019 Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Danny Amendola.

Other big-time names include Aaron Rodgers, Von Miller, the Backstreet Boys, Joey Fatone, Dennis Quaid, Boyz II Men, Trey Songz, Wilmer Valderrama, Run-DMC, John Grisham, and Bode Miller, among others.

The star-studded bash is held at the Louisville, Kentucky, home of Patricia Barnstable Brown. The gala has raised and donated approximately $16 million to the Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center at the University of Kentucky over the past 12 years, the statement said.
This isn’t the first time Brady has jetted to the horse race with his fellow Patriots. In 2015, he and Edelman, Amendola, and Rob Gronkowski were seen attending both the Kentucky Derby and an evening bout between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas.
