The first official trailer for “Frozen II” dropped Tuesday morning and racked up more than 2 million views on YouTube by the afternoon.

The trailer — which clocks in at just under two minutes — opens with Queen Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel) working to harness her powers. The clip takes a darker, Nordic noir turn on the original Disney favorite, which premiered to massive success in 2013.

As Elsa practices using her powers to turn things into ice, one of the film’s iconic trolls informs her that “the past is not what it seems” and that she must go north to discover “the truth.”

“We have always feared Elsa’s powers were too much for this world,” the troll tells Anna, Elsa’s younger sister voiced by Kristen Bell. “Now we must hope they are enough.”

“Frozen II” stars Menzel, Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad. The film hits theaters on Nov. 22.
