A stretch of weather like this in mid-October is something to be savored. Boston has had way above-average warmth for the balance of the fall thus far and may not get its first frost before the end of the month.

A week of warmth is ahead of us

Temperatures in the 70s and at least some sunshine are in store for many locations in Southern New England in the coming days.

Expect a warm Marathon weekend with a possibility of rain

If there are lingering showers Monday, they will occur first thing with slow improvement as the day wears on. Temperatures will be around 60 for the start of the Marathon and approach 70 by early afternoon.

The warmth continues, and a look at Marathon Monday

Temperatures this afternoon with the increasing sunshine will reach to 70 degrees and be in the low- and mid-70s for the daytime on Thursday.

After a rainy Monday, expect sunshine and 70-degree temperatures for the second half of the workweek

We will have to wait until Wednesday to enjoy a nice day, but the rest of the workweek looks pretty awesome, with plenty of sunshine and temperature readings well above average.

The first few days of the month are looking pretty nice. Sunshine will boost temperatures back into the 60s after a few spots saw their first 30-degree weather of the season this morning.
